2.7 TDI SE TOURING AUTO

This is my Nissan Terrano 2.7 TDI SE Touring, I brought it to tow the car trailer we have, once I pass my trailer test that is, until then I'm back under L plates. For any of you youngsters out there like myself that past your test after 1997 you are now required by Law to take a car & trailer test. Think its got something to do with the DSA not having enough money for the Christmas party, as the test costs £85 a hit & you need to supply your own road legal trailer. Trust me the test isn't easy make sure you can reverse your trailer around cones before even booking the test. Anyway enough ranting I've towed our caravan down to Dorset this year & the car trailer a number of times with someone beside me. It don't have any problems & tows much better then the Isuzu, the only point I would make is, when towing at around 60mph, the auto box isn't sure if it wants 3rd or 4th gear & can be a bit of a pain, but hopfully my mods will sort this out.

	New Sound System - I have started this but just fitted a new head unit & CD changer at present.
	Air Flow - Going to use a mixure of Hi-clone & K&N parts to improve the standard system to gain more BHP
	New Chip - A new performace data chip to add to the exsiting ECU will be installed again to improve BPH when towing etc
	Exhaust - not an immediate job but one planned for the future when the old one needs replacing, this again will be performace to gain yet more BHP
	In car computer - I'm building a computer to go into the car, this will have Sat-nav, DVD player, Satalite TV, Internet Via a GRPS card & your normal XP Pro funtions .
	Looks are important for any vehicle so I plan to fit a A-Bar & a few other styling mods

I will do a full right up on each mod I undertake on my Terrano & display them on here, so keep checking the site

As you can see most the jobs I want to do are power related, this is for one good reason, I won't be using it off-road as such, so I want the extra power for towing & travelling long distances.
