Dad & myself have been interested in 4x4s for some time but never really had the money or the knowledge to get started in the sport. This all changed on fathers 2002 when I paid for my Dad & myself to go to the Royal Engineers training ground in Bordon, Hampshire for a days off-Roading in the family 4x4, an Isuzu Trooper Citation, which we had from the days when we had a caravan, it wasn't brought for getting the shopping or picking the kids up form school , like most of them now days, however it can fit 9 people in & often does.

After a great days off-Roading round the miles of course available we headed back home. From this point on it was decided we were hooked! I had just started work and had the money to get a cheap off-Roader. Deciding what to get was the first big problem, I'm slightly disabled & can't use my feet to drive, so all my vehicles have to be converted to use hand acceleration & breaking. This means finding a small 4x4 with an auto box that we can convert our self to work with the hand controls, not easy at all, but finally we found a Suzuki Vitara Escudo in February 2003 that fitted the bill. It was an imported vehicle but it does the job. Since then we have spent time adding mods and turning it into what it is today.

I currently live and off-road in Southend on Sea in Essex I enjoy modifying Suzuki Vitara Escudo sidekicks and trackers and turning them into off-road machines. I have put many 4x4 accessories of my Suzuki Vitara some of these include 4x4 rollcage body lift suspension lift mud tyres a superwinch 9000lb winch hi clone snorkel CB radio & other Vitara engine performance products etc. I get my parts from lots of 4x4 suppliers like Calmini and with the help of Google Yahoo & other search engines I can't use my feet to drive therefore use hand controls to control my vehicle.
